Working remotely is convenient because you can work wherever, whenever! It also allows you to connect with a variety of clients based in different locations while fitting their needs even from the comfort of your living rooms (or wherever you choose to work).
As PO3 Agency has had employees working remotely for the past year and a half, we have acquired some tips from working from home, many of which are courtesy of our Account Manager, Addyson Block, and we are here to share those with you today!
1, Get Ready For the Day
While PJ’s are certainly comfortable, wearing them while working from home may not be the best way to set yourself up for success. Getting up and getting ready for the day can increase your efficiency and get you more “in the zone” for work, while wearing PJ’s could remind you of going back to bed or completing more leisurely activities. Wearing attire you would wear to an in-person meeting could stimulate your productivity and make you feel more motivated to conquer your work day!
2. Set Your Work Space Up for Success
Looking and feeling clean and prepared to work comes from maintaining a proper workspace as well. If your desk area is organized and clean it prevents you from losing important items you may need to keep track of and additionally makes your environment feel more professional. This will minimize distractions and ensure that you feel ready to tackle your work for the day without feeling disorganized.
3. Practice Self Care
Working from home can be beneficial because your home has the ability to provide comfort. Some examples of how you can do things at home to boost your mood during work are putting your office in a room with the best natural lighting or taking a break to make your favorite homemade coffee. The beauty of working from your home is that the possibilities are endless in what you can do to increase your productivity.
At PO3 Agency, we prioritize the well-being of our clients and our employees. We love that our remote environment allows us to work with amazing employees and companies all over the world and we hope the tips that we’ve learned from this process are useful to you!
